Our dynamic and rapidly expanding firm is seeking a passionate and driven Consulting Budgeting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed budgetary analysis and providing strategic financial advice to top-tier clients. You will be at the forefront of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, playing a critical role in shaping the financial future of our clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of client budgets.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, assess financial performance, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Work closely with clients to develop financial forecasts and set budgetary goals.
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients based on detailed budgetary analysis.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure budgets align with corporate strategies and objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on budget proposals and financial plans.
- Monitor spending to ensure it remains within budget, identifying any discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on budget management and financial planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a budget analyst, budget and financial planning manager, budget manager, non-profit financial planning and analysis manager, non-profit finance manager, or finance manager.
- Proficient in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of finance principles and accounting procedures.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Proficient in various financial software and applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
