Budget and Dashboard Analyst (Power BI) - Lynch Consultants, LLC

What We Are Looking For:

Provide Federal IT budget analysis, dashboard development, and maintenance support. Work closely with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) on end-to-end budgetary needs including planning, execution, and reporting. This client-facing role requires adapting to a dynamic environment and evolving demands.

· Determine the feasibility of automating government financial business practices.

· Support definition of government financial business practices and incorporate processes into an automated solution.

· Assist in applying sound accounting and data processing principles.

· Integrate government financial business practices.

· Identify potential problems and solutions through analysis and recommends solutions.

· Work with functional specialists, vendors, and customers to effectively automate requirements.

· Apply applications, while adhering to established accounting principles and practices.

· Assist in planning and executing Agency budgetary resources, including assistance in establishing budget controls and budget loads into the Agency’s financial system.

· Administer and execute quarterly and annual commitment and obligation plans.

· Assist in developing reports and supporting budget execution reviews to monitor execution performance.

· Work with the Agency team in developing mission and operational resource requirements. Support reviews and analyses to ensure that planned activities/milestones are realistic, properly costed, and consistent with program objectives and the Agency's investment strategy.

· Assist in establishing projections for, and monitoring execution of, funds received from all sources. Support financial analysis and execution reports as required to meet customer and management needs.

· Provide input to the formulation and justification of assigned programs for the POM, BES and President's Budget exhibits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience providing IT Budgetary services to IT management and technical staff in a federal IT organization.
• Proficient skills and capabilities in Microsoft Office suite of applications/tools – especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS SharePoint.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• 6 years of experience providing IT Budgetary services to a Federal Chief Information Officer
• Prior experience using PowerBI or ServiceNow
• Bachelor’s Degree
