Budget Analyst - Vali Incorporated

SUMMARY:

This position will support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL assisting DoD Budget/Financial Analysis. The qualified candidate will be capable of assisting in the execution of the following tasks:

• Execution of program funds, monitor obligations and expenditures, and support development and review of program budget
• Track, analyze, and execute program funding and prepare monthly execution reports
• Competent and efficient in use of financial systems
• Use automated systems to initiate Purchase Requests (PRs) documents (to include generating MIPRs and contract modifications)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in regards to execution and beyond daily duties

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA in business or related field
• Established knowledge of Excel and MS Office suite
• Understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• The ability to work in a Team environment
• Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance upon hire date

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to multi-task; effectively manage time, and work under firm and quick turn-around deadlines
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Planning, problem solving, data collection, and analytical skills
