Location:New Fulton Fish Market, Bronx

Hours per week:full-time (37.50 hours per week)

Schedule:

• Mon - Friday 12pm-9pm

Pay: $18.50

Benefits:After 90 days (first of the month) of continuous work for 35 hours each week, you will qualify for health insurance. Vacation and Sick pay.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Cleaner will perform general cleaning and upkeep for a large commercial building and public facilities area. Individuals in these janitorial positions will ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.

Summary of duties:

• Sanitation, debris removal, and general clean up of fish market and loading docks.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the areas.
• Regularly check the trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the site.
• Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles.
• Clean restrooms, windows and other surfaces;
• Any other tasks assigned
• power washing
• Painting
• Need Boom lift training
• Mandatory Snow Removal and possible overtime

Qualifications:

o Must have a Valid Driver"s License

o Must have a working phone that is able to download two mobile apps used to complete the job

o Ability to use phone app for report completion of each location

o Must be age 18 or over

o Must have valid NY ID

o Must have a demonstrated record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality

o Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

o Good communication skills and ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions are also required

o Ability to speak and read english
