Position Overview:
The Broker is responsible for sourcing, developing, converting, and closing deal opportunities for the firm. This role involves extensive client interaction, market research, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. The Broker will manage the entire deal lifecycle, from initial discovery calls to finalizing legal documents and coordinating closings.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing and Development:
- Source, develop, convert, and close on all deal opportunities for the firm.
- Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to identify their needs and opportunities.
- Send listing agreements and/or representation agreements to potential clients.
Client and Internal Team Coordination:
- Initiate huddles with clients and internal teams to better guide the deal process.
- Initiate go-live huddles with clients and support members to ensure smooth transitions.
- Facilitate executed Letters of Intent (LOI) and collaborate with attorneys and accountants on deals.
- Receive and facilitate legal documents related to deals.
Negotiation and Vendor Relations:
- Negotiate LOIs with potential clients and buyers.
- Introduce and facilitate vendor relationships to support deal processes.
Documentation and Deal Management:
- Voucher draft creation and submission to management for approval.
- Receive finalized legal documents and coordinate deal closings.
- Upload documents into the deal management software (DMS) and update with conversational notes.
Market Research and Reporting:
- Conduct market research and site selection to support client needs and deal opportunities.
- Participate in weekly pipeline meetings with Vice Presidents of specific service lines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in real estate and/or practice sales, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deals and client relationships simultaneously.
- Proficiency with deal management software (DMS) and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 50/50 commission split with the practice (First year ~ $80,000 - $150,000)
