Broadband Provisioner
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for reviewing and coordinating project review calls between Provisioning and Carrier Account Sales teams.
- Responsible for keeping Provisioning tracker up to date with latest information for all ongoing Broadband projects.
- Communicating carrier pricing spreadsheets to Carrier Cost Manager to ensure special pricing is being applied.
- Following up on construction cost budgets with carriers to ensure budget is applied correctly.
- Assisting with Project Data entry billing to ensure bill run deadline is met.
- Responsible for reviewing and submitting customer requests ordering new Broadband Internet services.
- Process changes to existing services and disconnection of services, all in a satisfactory timeframe.
- Workflow for a Broadband Provisioner is strictly 4G/5G Wireless, Cable, ADSL, & Fiber internet.
- Will interact with Partner Support, Customer Service and Customers with regards order clarification, order status, and order completion notifications.
- Will assist customer phone vendors in configuring customer equipment with data specs provided by the carrier and should have hands-on experience with pinging Gateway.
- Work with carrier tech support on any issues after installation.
- Work with Network Engineering to configure managed equipment and monitoring.
- Coordinate professional installation when necessary.
- Maintain and enter new billing charges to customer’s account before bill runs.
- Escalate order issues with Carrier Account Managers to achieve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Process credits as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have background in Internet Technical knowledge. Project Management is a plus.
Must be efficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Teams for reporting, communication and scheduling.
Must be a good multi-tasker, have detail orientation, have good organizational and time management skills.
Candidate should have strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have effective interpersonal skills to interact successfully with customers, management and team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced working environment, especially when dealing with time sensitive issues and mandated deadlines
High School diploma or equivalent
