Our client is hiring a Bridge Inspection Engineer / Diver.

They are a unique engineering consulting firm focused exclusively on inspection, design, and construction support services for waterfront infrastructure. Their office is located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire however they work on interesting and challenging projects across the nation and worldwide. These projects include inspections, analyses, and design of waterfront structures such as piers, wharves, dry docks, and offshore towers. With a rigorous concentration on professional excellence, the firm creates fantastic opportunities for flexible, enthusiastic individuals who want to be a part of significant and purposeful work in the marine engineering field. The engineer should possess structural engineering skills, be a commercially certified diver, be technical savvy, have good computer skills, have written and oral communication skills, general inspection experience, have impeccable follow through while taking ownership in each project presented. This candidate should also be team oriented, possess a “can-do” attitude, and be eager to learn/develop new technical skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Degree

• ADCI certified diver or equivalent military qualification
•  4+ years of inspection experience
• P.E. License or be eligible for testing
• Strong computer and technical ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Surveying, bathymetric, imaging, drone, ROV inspection experience a plus
• Self-starter that is deadline driven

Compensation:

Wage and benefits package is dependent upon qualifications and experience of candidate. This position is eligible for the full company benefits package including:
