Are you an experienced civil/structural engineer with a passion for building and design? Do you have a knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Bridge Engineer for a permanent role in our dynamic engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects, including bridge and roadway construction. Responsibilities:
As a Bridge Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of bridges and other structures.
2. Utilizing your expertise in civil/structural engineering to develop innovative and effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
3. Collaborating with a team of engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess the condition of bridges and other structures, and to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
5. Preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in civil/structural engineering, and applying this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 7 years of experience as a civil/structural engineer, with a focus on bridge design and construction.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
3. Proficiency in the use of engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and analysis tools.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and effective solutions to complex engineering problems.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts to clients, stakeholders, and non-technical team members.
6. The ability to work effectively in a team, and to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
