Breakfast Server - $5.25/hour - Hotel Cleveland

The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is transforming to Hotel Cleveland, an Autograph Collection by Marriott. This historic hotel is a hub where stories unfold and connections are made, mirroring the city’s relentless spirit and welcoming heart. The property is currently undergoing a 90 million dollar renovation and will debut in Spring 2024. We are currently seeking reliable, professional service oriented individuals with great work ethic, professional presentation and great communication skills. Looking for energetic front of the house staff with positive attitude with strong customer service . You need to be very friendly and able to engage with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
• Knowledge of restaurant management software
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver orders to tables and ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
• Handle cash transactions and operate cash register or POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
• Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager
