The Lede Company, a full-service communication, strategy, and social impact consulting firm, specializing in corporate, brand, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, is seeking a Brand Assistant to join the Brand team in our New York office. .

The Brand Account Assistant will play an integral role in supporting accounts for a wide variety of Brand clients, as well as be a core member in the New Business & Strategy sub-division. The New Business & Strategy team plays a critical role in both driving The Lede Company’s business development and developing integrated marketing and communications strategies for our Brand clients, some of the biggest and most innovative brands across fashion, lifestyle, beauty/ wellness, automotive, technology, and social media.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative duties (agendas, call recaps, scheduling, expenses, booking travel etc.)
Assist in creating professional and client-ready presentations or excel spreadsheets
Assist in drafting press releases, pitches, VIP & influencer lists, and other supporting media materials as necessary
Conduct business research, industry analysis, competitor research and press coverage benchmarks
Support client projects from the brainstorm/ideation phase to plan development, execution, and reporting
Play an active role in preparing for and participating in the new business workstream, including internal brainstorms, deck development and external pitchback presentations
Support onsite at client events, coordination of logistics all stages of programming and coordination
Contribute to monthly, project or event reporting and recaps across all clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Marketing
PR agency or relevant in-house professional work experience required
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments within the organization
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite (Google Slides is a must)
Strong attention to detail
Deep understanding of pop-culture
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing
Takes initiative and is resourceful
