We are currently searching for a Branch Safety Manager for a commercial roofing company. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Branch Safety Manager to make a significant impact on the safety culture of a growing organization.This is a direct hire position with full benefits.
Job Summary
Assist, and help maintain safety programs, ensure a safe work environment, and assist in growing and maintaining safety culture.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing safety programs around job site safety practices including fall protection, hazard communication, and other safety-related items. Ability to speak in front of others and conduct training in groups.

Inspect projects for safety compliance, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Assist in creating Site Specific Safety Plans, and Activity Hazard Analyses, to create and maintain a safe workplace.

Ensuring safety compliance with all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations, monitor and enforce the requirements of the safety manual, and any owner-specific requirements.

Assist in the development of safety training for employees on safe work practices, policies, and procedures.

Identify safety issues that directly affect employees or pose a liability to the company.

Assist with OSHA agency-level audits as needed.

Maintaining safety compliance while working directly with our Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors and Suppliers.

Conduct safety orientation for all employees.

Establish and manage a safety committee at local branch.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1-3 years of experience developing, implementing effective solutions, and maintaining safety programs with measurable results.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and procedures.

Problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proficient in Procore, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat proficiency.

Have a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
Must have or be willing to acquire the following training and certifications:
- OSHA30-hour in Construction1926 and working knowledge of it.
- OSHA500
- EM385
- Recognized BCSP certification preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Safety Management or a related field. Field experience may be considered as alternate experience.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
