We are on the hunt for a highly motivated, diligent, and experienced Permanent Branch Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our branch operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, including employee management, customer service, and financial management. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to utilize and further develop your leadership and operational management skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
3. Manage and lead a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
4. Monitor and manage branch financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
5. Ensure superior customer service is delivered at all times, addressing and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with other branch managers and the head office to align and achieve company goals.
7. Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
8. Ensure the branch operations are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify and suggest improvements to processes and procedures.
10. Manage and mitigate operational risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a branch setting.
3. Proven experience in team management and leadership.
4. Strong understanding of financial management principles.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in using MS Office suite and other business software.
7. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
10. Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.
11. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
12. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
