We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead operations, sales, logistics, service, and administrative functions while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role requires hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and a strong ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee operations, sales, logistics, service, and administrative activities to achieve branch goals.
- Lead strategic initiatives to drive growth in revenue and profitability.
- Maintain branch responsiveness by ensuring prompt communication with customers and employees.
- Collaborate with management and supervisory staff to promote clear, consistent communication and team alignment.
- Develop and manage team assignments, providing ongoing feedback and holding team members accountable for performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering growth opportunities.
- Ensure proper documentation, agreements, and legal compliance before starting any project or service.
- Visit job sites regularly to provide coaching, ensure productivity, and uphold quality standards.
- Monitor logistics processes to track and invoice equipment and services accurately.
- Manage billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all rendered services.
- Partner with internal support teams to address branch needs and ensure effective communication.
- Support accounts receivable by resolving customer payment issues and addressing aging invoices.
- Attend industry functions to enhance the companys visibility and promote its services.
- Evaluate financial and sales management data, preparing relevant analysis and reports.
- Enforce and prioritize safety standards to minimize risks and maintain compliance.
- Promote adherence to company policies and procedures while offering training and support as needed.
- Lead by example and align branch operations with organizational values and goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or construction management environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and bidding procedures.
- Proficient in PC applications and software, with the ability to analyze data and create reports.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and travel as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting materials or equipment up to 75 lbs
- Standing, walking, stooping, and climbing during extended periods.
