Job Summary
RGA Branch Managers plan, direct and coordinate the operations of their location(s). They manage staff within all departments (sales, shop, etc.) for optimum performance. This is a safety sensitive position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
- Coordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain controls
- Execute measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Responsible for the achievement of department and location productivity and quality goals
- Determine staffing needs, hire and oversee training of new staff
- Develop staff to maximize potential
- Supervise staff according to overall company policy
- Maintain a safety focused culture throughout the store and ensure safety policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Apply strategic planning to determine company or department objectives
- Monitor staff performance including performance reviews
- Delegate work duties to staff to meet objectives
- Allocate use of available resources
- Monitor and assist staff with work progress
- Implement company policies, as set forth by the corporate location
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Follow directions of RGA policies and procedures
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily management of all employees of the branch, ranging from four to fifteen individuals
- Manage the overall development of the team, including coaching, training, and succession planning
- Carry out these responsibilities according to company policies and applicable federal, state and local laws
Education and Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Four-year college degree
- Knowledge of business management principles and practices
- Knowledge of strategic planning, office administration procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office and other relevant software applications
- Industrial sales experience required and a general knowledge of operational needs of manufacturing
Travel:
- This position may require relocation to any active RGA location
- Requires frequent travel by car to assist sales team in making sales calls, generally in a territory of up to a 150-mile radius
- May require air or car travel for trips for training, trade shows, etc.

- Must have a valid, active Driver's License with an insurable driving record
