Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organize office operations, ensuring efficient workflow across all departments.
Support and assist departments to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of information.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure adherence to company procedures and processes.
Identify areas for improvement within departments and implement necessary changes.
Monitor team performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Provide training and guidance on Customs Brokerage Regulations.
Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions as needed.
Distribute work instructions and monitor file flow to ensure timely task completion.
Offer management guidance, training, and organizational support to the team.
Adjust systems to enhance office efficiency and effectiveness.
Define team roles and responsibilities, and monitor performance to exceed company objectives.
Address performance issues and collaborate with HR on improvement plans.
Conduct regular team meetings, communicate goals, and set expectations.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
9-10 years of management experience.
Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to build and train effective teams.
Experience in strategic planning and workload delegation.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Demonstrated professionalism and reliability.
Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate fees, percentages, and perform currency conversions.
