About the Job
The Branch Manager of the Distribution/ Sales Center will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies for the processes to ensure effective sales, inventory and financial metrics management center.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years experience in product sales and business operations management.
- Must be detail oriented and proactive anticipating problems and capable of initiating solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self motivated, self starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality and well organized.
- Strong leadership and business metrics management skills. Strong relationship building skills.
- A background including experience in the door/construction industry is preferred or retail experience in a hardware or home improvement facility.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and a fast learner of other software types.
- There is lots of moving parts to this position - you must be willing to spend time learning and absorbing!
- Devise and implement daily routing strategy.
- Assure on time installs
- Maintain appropriate branch staff levels
- Coordinate staff training
- Assure branch customer service objectives
- Communicate schedule changes to customers
- Interface with customers to solve service complaint issue
- Communicate business needs to corporate
- Supervise general branch workflow and procedures
- Maintain appropriate inventory level
- Place branch material orders on regular and timely schedules
- Routinely monitor branch data
- Track unscheduled orders
- Submit personnel disciplinary actions to corporate
- Devise and implement effective inventory maintenance
- Communicate impending shortages to Purchasing Manager
- Coordinate weekly branch inventory counts where needed on high volume product
- Submit weekly inventory counts and orders to Purchasing Manager
- Supervise and/or execute warehouse dispatching and check-in
- Assure appropriate material is being dispatched
- Assure field material returns
- Routinely monitor branch sales performance
- Report vendor material failures to Service manager/director
- Notify Human Resource Manager of staff absentees
- Notify superintendants and customer of deviations
- Provide field support as needed
- Orchestrate branch organization
