About the Job
A leading building materials company is seeking a Branch Manager.
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for overseeing store operations to align with company goals, maximizing profitability through effective management of facilities, inventory, budgets, staff, and safety programs while fulfilling customer needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive operations to meet annual budget and business plan objectives.
- Develop and recommend operational policies and procedures.
- Create short-term and long-term plans with budget requests and financial goals.
- Establish annual store budget and sales goals.
- Manage operating income through effective sales and cost control.
- Enforce company policies and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Oversee inventory control and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff while conducting performance reviews.
- Monitor expenses and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct training sessions and communicate objectives to staff.
Sales Management and Marketing:
- Lead and mentor sales staff to achieve goals.
- Plan product knowledge training and assist with key accounts.
- Participate in industry events and recommend merchandising strategies.
EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years in sales/production/operations management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Expertise in facility management, strong administration and communication skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in computer skills.
