JOB TITLE: Brake Roll Operator (2nd Shift)
LOCATION(s): Mayville, WI
SHIFT:
2ND Shift: Monday to Thursday / 2:30PM 1:00AM with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs.
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform production work on a variety of press brakes loading and unloading parts and basic inspection to ensure quality of the parts. Will not be responsible for machine set up or tear down. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Brake/Roll Operator classification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the quality of the parts produced.
- Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
- Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull 30 lbs.
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
- Punch Press and Brake Department Required Tooling List:
- Allen Wrench
- Machinist Square, (12 or 24 inch)
- Tape measure, 912Ft)
- Calipers, 8-inch minimum (Dial or Digital)
- Center Punch
- Scriber
- Ball Peen Hammer
- 15/16-inch Combination Wrench, (Punch Press only)
- Protractor, (Press Brake only)
- Tool Box for the above tools.
