Box Office Manager - PSQ Productions

Location: Onsite- Irvine, CA

Salary: $80,000- $85,000

Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Box Office Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our ticketing operations across a diverse range of concerts, events and venues. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our ticketing processes are seamless, efficient, and aligned with the overall sales goals of our events. The Box Office Manager will manage the box office team, oversee ticketing systems, and be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis related to ticket sales. Additionally, this role will take charge of group packages and sales, premium experiences (e.g., VIP, Cabanas, Private Suites), and the enhancement of sales through strategic data management and ticketing page optimization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:
• Lead and manage the ticketing team, including hiring, training, and scheduling of Box Office and data analytics personnel.
• Oversee ticketing operations for all events and venues, ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-friendly processes.
• Act as the primary liaison for all ticketing operations, maintaining strong relationships with promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and partners.
• Event Ticketing & Sales:
• Manage event setup and maintenance within ticketing software, including programming, reporting, and ticket holds.
• Manage and oversee seating build charts and layouts for events and venues, ensuring alignment with promoters and entertainers while maximizing revenue potential.
• Lead the development and sales of group packages and premium experiences, including VIP services.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and entertainment departments to optimize revenue strategies, including up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Organize and oversee nightly Box Office operations during events, ensuring smooth Ticket Sales, Will Call, and Ticket Scanning processes.
• Financial & Data Management:
• Maintain accurate Box Office accounting records, perform daily reconciliation, prepare deposits, and generate daily financial reports.
• Prepare detailed Box Office settlement reports promptly after events and participate in event settlements as required.
• Analyze ticket sales data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and support marketing efforts.
• Evaluate ticketing data to best understand who our customers are and provide recommendations and strategies to build both existing and new audiences.
• Manage and input data for building and optimizing ticketing pages to enhance sales and user experience.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess event success and drive continuous improvement.
• Systems & Compliance:
• Maintain and optimize ticketing systems, ensuring they are user-friendly and up-to-date with the latest technology.
• Handle escalated customer service issues related to ticketing and work to resolve them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding ticketing and sales.
• Monitor ticketing software and hardware, promptly reporting and resolving issues.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ticketing management, preferably in an event production or venue management setting.
• Proven experience with building out tickets efficiently using the following systems; Ticketmaster, AXS, Etix & Ticketspice.
• Proven experience doing seating charts for concerts.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Asana.
• Experience in managing group packages, premium experiences, and VIP services.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in financial reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, especially during event preparation and execution.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Strong follow up and responsive communication skills
