Job Description Summary:
Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the overall maintenance of all manufacturing, facility, & support equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on all production & supporting equipment. Must communicate and interact well with maintenance/production/quality department personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain high speed production equipment, including a 45 valve bottle filler, 20 station labeler, carrier and carton erectors, and a drop packer.
Maintain, trouble shoot, support & repair of all production equipment and supporting equipment e.g. air compressor, coolers, material storage tanks.
Determine & requisition material, parts, spare parts, and equipment to be used for PM’s, repairs, installations and stock.
Coordinate, and participate in scheduled and planned preventive maintenance and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on all production and supporting equipment.
Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines e.g. cGMP and Maintenance CMMS.
Perform all tasks in a Safe and Secure manner. Perform mechanical work around process piping.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment hydraulically, pneumatically, and most often, mechanically and electrically.
(Preferred) Ability to read, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic.
(Preferred) Mig, Tig, Stick, Brazing and Soldering Skills
Maintain GFSI SQF programs related to capex and maintenance
Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, part time, 2pm to 7pm, with ocassional saturday time to help complete projects.
Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of the work, safety and the safety of others, and the need to interact with guests or inspectors.
