LAP of America Laser Applications, L.L.C. is currently searching for a proven

who will be primary assisting our Accounting Manager in applying and tracking customer receivables and collections.

Bookkeeping Assistant – Primary Functions 

• Provides support to Accounting Manager and accounting department
• Primary responsible for Collections of Accounts Receivable
• Applies customer payments
• Posts other bank transactions and reconciles bank accounts
• Assists Accounting Manager in Accounts Payable duties
• Books and reconciles company credit cards
• Assist with the month-end close as assigned
• Assist in year-end audit
• Other projects
• Serves as phone backup

Sales Support Functions

• Provide support to Customer Support Manager, who has the primary responsibility over the entire order processing function
• Create, maintain and ensure sales and service order alignment to established OEM, dealer, and end user pricing
• Follow corporate approval policies
• Ensure clear lines of communication between the sales support team and the collections and logistics departments
• Ensure clear communication and support for the direct sales and OEM sales teams as it pertains to the sales support processes and sales support systems (NAV, CRM etc.)
• Follow credit card processing procedures and workflow
• Follow appropriate documentation management and controls to ensure compliance to corporate and regulatory requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
