Position: Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic Accounts Payable and Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to support essential accounting operations while working in a collaborative environment where you can grow professionally.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and monitor 7 email inboxes for Accounts Payable processing.
- Reconcile vendor statements, ensuring accuracy between payables and receivables.
- Generate reports for both internal teams and external clients.
- Assist in organizing, submitting, and maintaining document packages for timely review.
- Provide top-tier support to the Accounting team by resolving any open items.
- Perform various clerical duties including filing, scanning, faxing, and distributing mail.
- Support month-end A/P accruals and assist with both internal and external audits.
- Assign Help Desk tickets to the accounting team for resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors and departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain and organize A/P records with attention to detail.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform routine administrative accounting tasks as needed.
- Take on special projects and other tasks as assigned to support the department.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1-2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience (experience in high-volume environments is a plus).
- A High School Diploma is required (Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A professional and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently when needed.
Work Schedule & Environment:
- Standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional extended hours during peak seasons (budget deadlines, month-end).
- Work in a comfortable office setting with occasional meetings.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, you’ll frequently use your hands to operate office equipment, including keyboards and phones. You may occasionally need to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds. This job requires sitting, standing, walking, and engaging in general office activities.
