Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Somerville, NJ (on-site role - remote work is not available)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:
?? Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Process credit card transactions and ensure accurate reconciliations
Conduct end-of-month reconciliations and prepare reports
Maintain and organize filing systems for financial records
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive client and financial information
Demonstrate empathy and compassion when working with clients
Support the team in maintaining efficient financial operations

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
About You:

3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must
Skilled in handling credit card transactions and reconciliations
Strong organizational and filing skills
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with integrity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy and understanding to clients
Prior experience in a law firm is a bonus but not required
A desire to learn and grow within the company

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Prior experience in the same or similar role
Prior experience in a law firm - nice to have
