About the Job
- Bookkeeper will process and manage accounts payable, including invoice review, data entry, and payment processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax documentation
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and ensure accurate financial records
- Support other accounting functions as needed, such as accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- As a Bookkeeper, you will track and manage company credit card transactions, reconciling expenses and ensuring timely payment
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, providing input on accounts payable trends and expenses
- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with QuickBooks is required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
