About the Job
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Payroll processing and payroll reporting
- Understanding the chart of accounts and making journal entries
- 1099 processing
- Sales Tax Reporting
- Communicating with various state and federal agencies
- Working with the clients to obtain the information necessary to prepare a clean set of books
- Be detail-oriented
- Have great organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Word.
- Some experience with tax documents and preparing tax returns.
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
