Our direct client is seeking a Bookkeeper for a direct hire opportunity with their Delray Beach, FL location.

Qualifications:
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferrable in the construction industry
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, & PEM
- Knowledge of standard practices of AIA documents (G702/703) and lien releases
- Proficient in basic accounting principles
- Must be reliable, organized, and able to multi-task
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Manager to ensure timely and accurate reporting, payments, billing, and administration
- Tracking Notice to Owner (NTOs) received and required Release of Liens
- Responsible for preparing and compiling monthly project draw applications to owners/lender in AIA format
- Assist project team with processing and approval of monthly subcontractor billings and general job cost invoices
- Ensure that subcontractors, suppliers, and vendor account balances in QuickBooks and PEM are always correct and reconciled
- Responsible for accurate and in-time payment of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendor invoices as well as timely receipt of owner funding
- Handle bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, A/P, payroll, 401(k) deductions
- Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting documents
