Title: Experienced Bookkeeper Opportunity in Skokie, IL (Hybrid Work Model)

We're in search of a talented and meticulous Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Skokie, IL. Responsibilities:
Manage and uphold accurate financial records, while also preparing comprehensive financial reports and overseeing accounts payable processes.
Skillfully navigate QuickBooks Desktop to enter invoices and payables promptly.
Process weekly reimbursement requests efficiently.
Maintain meticulous organization of all accounting files for easy access and reference.
Facilitate weekly check runs and diligently input weekly payroll journals.
Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies to uphold the integrity of financial records.
Present weekly accounts payable reports, ensuring timely review and resolution of outstanding invoices.
Conduct monthly bank statement reconciliations with precision.
Execute General journal entries accurately.
Prepare weekly financial reports for management's thorough review.
Collaborate with Tax Accountants to facilitate smooth tax filings.
Ensure meticulous tracking and recording of expenses to maintain financial transparency.
Monitor and analyze business expenses and revenue, identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and revenue enhancement.
Efficiently manage all vendor accounts, addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any accounting discrepancies or concerns.
Undertake any other administrative duties as assigned with diligence and professionalism.
Requirements and Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks, backed by 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with Paycom is highly desirable.
Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with a strong sense of self-motivation and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage projects efficiently.
Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
Thorough understanding of standard accounting principles and practices.
