We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team! This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balance of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility and convenience. With a primary focus on maintaining client financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and payroll the successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving our client's financial efficiency. This role requires a high level of proficiency in all aspects of accounting, with a particular focus on accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, financial accounting, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team! This position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balance of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility and convenience. With a primary focus on maintaining client financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and payroll the successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving our client's financial efficiency. This role requires a high level of proficiency in all aspects of accounting, with a particular focus on accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, financial accounting, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and documents, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure their accuracy, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and receipts.
- Oversee the general ledger, maintaining its accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize Quickbooks for various accounting tasks, including data entry, report generation, and transaction processing.
- Conduct financial accounting tasks, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Experience with tax preparation is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Quickbooks.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
