About the Job
Role: Responsible for general bookkeeping activities and practices in the office and to participate in reviewing and appraising financial procedures and records by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains all related accounting and bookkeeping records and accounting files in a neat, orderly manner.
- Compiles, retrieves and updates accounting information on computer in an efficient manner.
- Generates and submits accounting reports and routine financial statements after review for accuracy.
- Prepares and posts daily cash receipts to the appropriate account in computer and maintains bank deposit slips in chronological order.
- Performs journal entries and adjustments to the general ledger as needed and reconciliations
- Prepares and distributes routine financial statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepares a summary of account payables and receivables on a monthly basis.
- Experienced with accounting software (QuickBooks and other)
- Prepares and mails accounts payable checks on a daily basis.
- Maintains an accurate bookkeeping balance and reports any problems or discrepancies to management.
- Completes all required tax forms and meets deadlines in a timely, accurate fashion.
- Operates standard office equipment efficiently to include:
- o multi-line telephone
- o facsimile machine
- o photocopy machine
- o computer and printer
- o calculator
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Min associate degree,bachelors preffered, with at least 1-2 years’ experience in the accounting/bookkeeping
