Job Description:
The Hilton Hasbrouck Heights is seeking a detail-oriented and experience Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and performing other accounting tasks to ensure the financial of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers,
Invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process account payables and receivables, ensuring timely accurate payment of invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
- Monitor and analyze financial transactions and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
