BOOKKEEPER ROLE IN HENDERSON, NV

I am seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for one of my top clients based in Henderson, NV.  This is with a well-established company that will offer excellent opportunity for growth, stability, and 100% paid employer paid benefits.  Experience in Real Estate and/or Property Management would be a plus. 

Position Summary:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the finance department by performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks. This includes processing transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Prepare and distribute invoices, bills, and account statements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Enter financial data into accounting software systems.
• Support payroll processing as needed.
• Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing and payments.
• Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and document management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft Excel, Yardi a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
