Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant - Jennifer Miller Jewelry

About Us:

Jennifer Miller is a rapidly growing luxury boutique jewelry company, headquartered on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We currently have 5 boutiques: Upper East Side NY, Southampton NY, East Hampton NY, Palm Beach FL and South Beach Miami FL.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist the Director of Finance and join our corporate office team on the Upper East Side.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years bookkeeping experience
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks desktop version
• Jewelry/accessories industry experience a bonus

This role is on site in our corporate office and will be up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Data Entry:

• Entering credit card breakdowns
• Entering bills

Maintaining Accounts payable and reports

Reconciling bank accounts

Reconciling credit cards

Handling credit card chargebacks

Assist in sales tax filings

Assist in financial administration

Salary is determined based on job-related knowledge, experience, skills and other factors.
