Bookkeeper - Talent Forte

"Confidential Search for a Client "is seeking talented and analytical candidates with a finance or accounting experience to join the office as a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the companies financial management strategy and contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic goals.

This position will have the opportunity for creative problem-solving and change management to join in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper are outlined below:

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts, and other financial information.
• Process accounts payable/receivable.
• Monitor expense reporting.
• Work with the financial controller to advise the president and other key members of management on financial, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, operations, and other matters.
• Provide analytical support to companies internal management team.
• Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the president informed of all critical issues that may require his attention.
• Overseeing key financial performance indicators.

• Review and approve preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting

materials and metrics.

• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing initiatives, and proposed new sites/locations.

• Coordinate audit activities.

• Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting.

standards, and procedures and continuously evaluate the firm’s policies and procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Detail Oriented.
• Bookkeeping Experience
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Excel and strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office products.
• Able to adapt to an evolving organization and shifting priorities
• Ability to effectively collaborate across the agency and multiple disciplines.
• Effective time management: ability to delegate effectively and set standards for activity management.
