Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for construction projects.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address financial queries.
Qualifications of the Bookkeeper:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of construction accounting principles and terminology.
