Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for clients, including payroll, payroll tax, sales tax, bookkeeping, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Process client payroll, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients, offering insights into their financial status.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer questions, and ensure that their financial records are complete and accurate.
Stay up to date on tax laws, payroll requirements, and financial regulations to ensure clients remain compliant.
Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure that all accounting and bookkeeping tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Record income and expenses that the clients have already paid or received
Bookkeeping for Tax purposes
What We’re Looking For:
1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with sales tax and payroll tax filings is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Must be able to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
This is a part-time so the ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously is essential.
