Bookkeeper - NDM Hospitality Services

The Bookkeeper will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, revenue recognition, payroll recording and other related financial activities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

-Performs general financial accounting and other related duties for the organization.

-Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)

-Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, and reconciles accounts

-Reconciles bank accounts daily, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.

-Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.

-Maintains the purchasing and invoicing system.

-Works closely with Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager on preparation of accounts reconciliations and journals

-Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Knowledge of general financial accounting.

-Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
PREFERRED

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, preferred

-At least two years of related experience preferred.

-Knowledge of Real Page, NetSuite, or comparable ERP software is preferred.
