Overview of the Bookkeeper role:
- Prepare and maintain various financial records, ensuring proper transaction recording.
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in financial data analysis.
- Support external audits and tax preparation.
Preferred qualifications for the Bookkeeper role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related accounting field.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Keen attention to detailed accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks software.
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role.
