We’re seeking a unique professional who will serve as both Bookkeeper and Office Manager to join our family-owned construction business. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be a vital part of our team and contribute to a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Process and manage 100-200 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Accounting Duties: Handle bookkeeping tasks such as preparing invoices, processing credit card transactions, and maintaining organized financial records.
- Customer Contracts: Oversee customer contracts and assist with related documentation.
- Office Management: Maintain a well-organized office environment and manage day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors and team members, fostering positive relationships.
- Confidentiality: Handle all financial and personal information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
Requirements for Success:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, with knowledge of construction accounting being a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook). Familiarity with construction admin and NM Construction Licensing Laws is a bonus.
- Organizational Skills: A natural multitasker who keeps meticulous records and a tidy workspace.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle pressure gracefully.
