Bookkeeper / Administrative  Assistant 

• Hours:   Full-Time Monday - Friday
• Location:  Trenton, NJ
• Compensation :  $50,000+/annually

Our client, based out of Trenton, New Jersey, is looking for a bookkeeper/ administrative assistant to help take their operations to the next level. We need someone who is highly motivated, self-driven, and reliable to help deliver exceptional service to their customers. 

As part of this team, you'll be a skilled multitasker who provides support to the existing team with day-to-day operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a big PLUS!

Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively and independently in a very fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Multitasking
• Ability to learn fast
• Highly organized and very detail-oriented
• 2-3 years of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (some College degree preferable)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of appropriate software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,
• Microsoft PowerPoint ,Adobe Acrobat and Quick Books is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
• Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
• Willingness to go above and beyond, and work as a part of the team
• Ability to follow and execute systems currently in place

Responsibilities:

• Issuing Invoices
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Creation of mailing/emailing of monthly Statements
• Making Bank Deposits and assist with banking operations
• Payroll
• Remittance of Payroll and Monthly taxes
• Maintenance of Checkbooks
• Collections
• Verifies and compiles deposits and enters accordingly
• Assisting with quote follow up
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support visitors
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, data entry, etc.
• Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
• Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Create payment schedules
• Create a plan of upcoming operations
• Data entry and documentation filling
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
• Provide information by answering questions and requests

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Per Year
