KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a company near Portland, Maine in their search to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their growing accounting team. This position will primarily be responsible for overseeing and processing treasury functions (AP and AR) and manage general ledger activities, creating and posting pre-paids, accruals and adjusting journal entries for month end close.

Responsibilities for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
Responsibility for the general ledger entries
Reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet accounts.
Assist with internal and external financial reporting.
Review and analyze monthly income statement and balance sheet for multiple locations.
Maintain fixed assets ledger and associated depreciation schedules.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Assist with audits and reviews.
Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position:
-3+ years of relevant general ledger accounting experience
-Experience using ERP systems similar to Netsuite, SAGE, Dynamics 365 etc.
-Ability to work in office
Salary: $52,000-$60,000 + competitive benefits
