Bookkeeper/Accountant at Accentuate Staffing

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Recording debit and credit transactions accurately to reflect the financial activities of each client.
• Handling sales tax entries and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Managing payroll entries, including processing employee payments and deductions.
• Handling payables for clients, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Generating and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to provide insights into the financial performance of clients.

Requirements:

• Strong Excel skills are essential for this role. While pivot tables and formulas are not required, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in navigating Excel efficiently.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred, especially in a client-facing or service-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are critical for success in this role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Experience working with franchises or multiple locations is a plus.
• SAGE Accounting software experience is a plus
