Business Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Manage resident billing and payment processes, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise and support administrative staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Work closely with external vendors, insurers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and resolve financial issues.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations for process improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies that may impact financial operations.
Business office Manager Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- BOM experience in LTC/SNF
