pThe strongBody Shop Technician/strong repairs and paints damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards./p
pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p
ul
liRepairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards./li
liChecks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received./li
liPrepares vehicles for body repair work./li
liNotifies management of any additional repairs needed./li
liNotifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time./li
liMaintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair./li
liMaintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer./li
liComplies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management./li
liCooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles./li
liUnderstands keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc./li
liOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner./li

liMinimum 3 years of related work experience./li
liWorking knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicles including bodywork and when to replace or repair parts./li
liAbility to read and follow instructions on repair orders./li
liAbility to effectively communicate with others./li
liMulti-tasking; adapts easily to a fast-paced environment./li
liPrevious experience (Preferred)./li
liValid State Drivers License./li
liFlexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays./li
liHigh School Diploma or Equivalent./li
liValid State Drivers License; must meet insurability standards./li
liClean driving record./li
liFlexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays./li
liMust be able to utilize both, manual and automatic transmission vehicles./li
