Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Representation: Provide expert legal representation for clients in bodily injury cases, including but not limited to auto accidents, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of traumatic injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies, draft legal documents, and prepare for court proceedings.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress, answer inquiries, and manage expectations.
- Courtroom Representation: Attend court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions to advocate on behalf of clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements when appropriate, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to case management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with legal developments and industry trends related to bodily injury defense.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar in FL
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on traumatic injury defense.
- Strong litigation and courtroom experience.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and ethics.
