About the Job
Position Summary:
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for creating and overseeing implementation of ABA treatment
plans for patients.
Essential Duties & Expectations:
• Train Behavior Technicians, family or caregivers, and other individuals on ABA treatment
plans and how to implement treatment plans
• Communicate program changes to caregivers and ABA team
• Complete six-month authorization reports
• Provide 1-on-1 ABA therapy for patients within assigned caseload, as needed and
recommended in treatment plans
• Act as a liaison between Behavior Technicians, family or caregivers, and other service
providers
• Conduct supervision for patients within your assigned caseload either in person or via
telehealth as clinically recommended
• Monitor weekly progress and present updates of the patient’s program(s) and behavior
program(s) during supervision and team meetings
• Update and maintain programs
• Timely creation of reports, progress reports, set Individualized Education Program (IEP)
goals, and assessments as needed; all with the assistance of the Assistant Director
• Manage scheduled hours to ensure the timely completion of all assigned tasks including,
but not limited to, all assigned supervision time and direct work with each assigned
patient
• Responsible for the timely completion of assigned tasks including, but not limited to:
o Attend patient’s IEP/Placement meetings
o Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding prescription fidelity
o Update administrative tracking documents, as required by directors
• Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations, as well as any company policies and procedures
Skills & Abilities:
• Communicate information and ideas both verbally and in writing so others will
understand
• Observe and record data on patient behavior, documenting exactly what is observed in
an objective and concrete manner
• Understand information and ideas presented both verbally and in writing.
• Identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and take appropriate steps to
intervene for the safety of the patient
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop constructive and
cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time
• Provide personal assistance, including physical guidance in situations where the patient
is unable to conduct themselves safely
• Demonstrate tolerance for maladaptive behaviors, including but not limited to
aggressive, self-injurious, and difficult to manage behaviors, demonstrated by patients
• Ability to enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in written or electronic
form via PC, laptop or mobile device
• Understand the importance of customer satisfaction and do more than required to
ensure quality of care and customer retention
Education & Experience:
• Minimum Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field
• Current BCBA certification through the BACB or LPA license through the Psychology
Board
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Physical & Environmental Demands:
• Work may be performed in the home/ABA Therapy Center/community/outdoor
environments as required by the patient’s treatment program
• Must be able to lift and carry patients as needed
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting,
crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
• Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as
indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with
challenging behavior
• Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions
for data collection
• Must be able to receive feedback from supervisors and use it as a means to reflect on
strengths and weaknesses and build on previously learned competencies.
• Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through
computer, electronic devices, and paper means
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job
sites
• Must have a valid driver license and auto insurance in good standing
• Able to drive a motor vehicle
• Lift/push/pull/move up to 50 pounds
Be able to physically move for up to 8 hours a day
Pay Rate is $85,000 - $90,000 plus monthly commissions
