BMW Service Business Development / Customer Service Representative - Rallye Motor Company

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, has an immediate career opportunity in our BMW Service Business Development Center (BDC) for a BDC Representative! The BDC representative will supplement the service team by booking service appointments, answering client inquiries, and conducting follow-up calls, while promoting BMW standards for superior customer service experience. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Establish ongoing consulting relationship with customers by being available during normal hours to answer questions, explain additional repairs needed
• Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by accurately identifying the customer's service needs and by thoroughly understanding the BMW products and service lines.
• Establish working agreement with the customer by determining and verifying customer's service needs and recording them along with current vehicle and customer information on the repair order (phone number & email address).
• Verify customer’s need for alternative transportation (Rental, Shuttle, Taxi, & Loaner vehicle)
• Coordinate with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, or other retail center personnel in order to communicate with customers and technicians regarding repair work. Determine time of completion.
• Advise customer of early or late vehicle drop off and pick up procedures (i.e. Early Envelope, drop box location, or fax in reservation confirmation form).
• Follow up with customers who missed their appointments. Confirm customer appointments

PAY RANGE: $19 - $21 Per Hour + Commission

Requirements

• Previous automotive BDC, customer service, and/or phone sales experience required
• Outstanding Customer Service Skills
• Trainable in various computer systems
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills
• Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability
• Professional personal appearance
• Must be available to work Saturdays
