Role Overview:
This role combines the rigor of traditional internal auditing with the power of advanced analytics, positioning you at the forefront of the organization's efforts to enhance decision-making through using and developing data analytics to perform internal audits and automated internal audits. The ideal candidate will have Internal Audit experience, demonstrated data analytics experience, and strong knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards all used to drive change and efficiency. This position plays a pivotal role in revolutionalizing the team's approach to providing assurance on risk mitigation and internal controls. Using your expertise with data analytics tools, you will conduct data-driven audits to deliver actionable insights, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic value in business processes. This position is for the detail driven problem, solving professional who is excited about technology.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $67,314.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
+ Analyze business processes, business rules, methods of data acquisition and data application for advancement of business practices, operational performance enhancement and resource allocation.
+ Preside over methodic, non-routine examinations of office specific data through advanced analysis routines, queries, and scripts.
+ Present the findings/recommendations through the development of custom reports, charts and maps.
+ Work with Information Technology on the administration of analysis packages including data loading/unloading, error message interpretation, SQL statement development, script updating, mass editing of datasets and software database performance analysis.
+ Manage all the activities of subordinates including interviewing/selecting applications, assigning work, scheduling training, evaluating, and administering disciplinary action.
+ Investigate new/existing technologies and business practices for practical and feasible implementation into divisional workflow and work with Information Technology for implementation.
+ Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees to ensure role responsibilities and expectations are clearly understood while providing opportunities to continue professional development.
+ Set expectations, measure progress, provide ongoing feedback, and evaluate the performance of employees. Ensure work adheres to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.

This role may provide direct supervision for one or more staff members.
