Blow Molding Process Technician
The Process Technician will be responsible for blow molding processes to ensure products are made to customer specifications. In addition, the Process Tech will handle molding shift output, be highly organized and possess a problem-solving attitude. They are an expert problem solver with a strong mechanical aptitude.

They are a privately-owned and family operated company, bringing over 50 years of experience. The success of the company has been built based on successful projects and long-term client relationships. They take projects from concept to shipment and pride themselves on quality production and timely service.
Specializing in custom blow molding, they produce containers in many uncommon sizes and shapes. Their equipment can run single, dual, triple, and quad mold configurations. The nine operating lines can produce containers ranging in size from 2 oz. to 2 ½ gallons. In addition, they provide downstream trimming, flaming, and packaging.
Due to continued growth and an expanding customer base, the company is adding a few key team members.
Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Work with production lines on custom blow molded products
- Start-up and cycle in new jobs
- Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner to minimize down time and maintain machine efficiency
- Assist with material management including the processing of scrap and regrind produced
- Report any molds and machines requiring maintenance
- Perform minor maintenance functions as needed on machines and auxiliary equipment
- Maintain a safety focus in everything you do
- Identify and resolve machine and tooling issues
- Work with management to set and meet production output targets
- Ensure all production equipment is outputting quality products
- Ensure preventative maintenance and repair activities are executed efficiently.
- Help new product development team with your technical process knowledge
- Work with external tooling, equipment suppliers and contractors when needed
- Be a leader in a small team

Requirements:
- Knowledge of extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, two-stage molding, reheat & blow (or blown molding of any sort) processes and equipment
- Knowledge of Bekum, Uniloy, Sterling, Hartig or similar machinery very helpful!
- Experience making adjustments to production equipment processes to change material distribution, weights, heights, and other physical properties/dimensions, parison, etc.
- Knowledge of mold change procedures and steps/methods for line changes
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strength in mentoring production operators
- Strong knowledge of workplace OH&S
