Blow Mold Maintenance Technician - Western Container Corporation

We are the premier manufacturer of plastic beverage bottles for the Coca-Cola bottling industry. Our company was founded by a group of Coca-Cola bottlers over 45 years ago and is now majority-owned by Coca-Cola Bottlers. Our location at the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Northpoint Facility in Houston, TX is searching for a high-quality team player who is interested in working with state-of-the-art equipment in a stable, fast-paced work environment.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and support equipment

•Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of air compressors, material dumpers, blow machines, and air-conveyor lines

•Perform changeovers of blow molders per production demands

•Rebuild sub-assemblies to OEM specifications

•Troubleshoot electrical control and distribution systems to include 24VAC, 120VAC, 277VAC and 480VAC controller and monitor control systems

•PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge

•Operate production equipment and perform production duties when assigned

Requirements

•Must have a high school diploma or GED. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted.

•Must be willing and able to work any shift- total flexibility

•Four (4) years hands-on mechanical experience

•Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and troubleshooting skills

•Manufacturing experienced preferred

•Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills

•Forklift experience preferred
