Job Description:
BK Lobster Baltimore is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive the best dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using dish machines or by hand.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the dishwashing area is clean, organized, and free of clutter. Regularly remove trash and sanitize garbage cans.
- Stocking: Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in their proper places.
- Support Kitchen Staff: Assist chefs and kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and other tasks as directed.
- Safety and Hygiene: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a sanitary workstation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Skills: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to work in a hot and humid environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
